5. 2. 2010: Open letter to the President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic

In its open letter the Forum Science Is Alive! calls on the President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic Jaroslav Míl to state reasons which have led him to reject the Prime Minister’s proposal of a transparent procedure for the appointment of the new Council for Research, Development and Innovations. On the morning of 5 February 2010 representatives of the Forum distributed the open letter in front of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Czech Chamber of Commerce. An anonymous man walking out of the building of the Confederation of Industry told representatives of the Forum that “if they knew how everything was entangled, they would understand that they don’t stand a chance!”
