4. 2. 2010: Members of the new Council for Research, Development and Innovations

The procedure for appointment the new governmental Council for Research, Development and Innovations has not been made public. According to the civic association Forum Is Alive!, the Council will be constituted of Prime Minister Jan Fischer and Minister of Education Miroslava Kopicová, representatives of the main stakeholders (Academy of Science of the Czech Republic, Czech Rector’s Conference, Czech Research Council, Council of Higher Education Institutions, Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and the Technological Agency of the Czech Republic. Remaining members of the Council will be chosen from candidates proposed by individual stakeholders based on an assessment of these candidates’ expertise. Forum Science Is Alive! has complied the names of all the candidates nominated by individual stakeholders for the new Council for Research, Development and Innovations.
